Pete you were a hand full!!! But a loyal friend, who I
would always help, no matter what fiasco you fell into.
You called me daily.I miss those calls.Pete
you were one of the most determined hard working
people I have ever had the honor to know. You hold a special place in my heart.I know you knew the Lord, this gives me great comfort. As I know you are with him.I no longer have to worry about your well being. You are happy and safe ,forever and ever. Julie and I miss you and love you.Rest in peace until we meet again.

love,

Lou and Julie Melillo

Peter been gone awhile now, but he still remains in our hearts. Pete had the ability to make you laugh, hard. He didn't seem to mind being the butt of the joke from time to time. Example:

Pete, Byl Carruthers, Harry Nickelson, and I were playing backyard basketball. Pete launched the ball across the court toward the hoop. As it neared the intended destination, Pete triumphantly declared "What a shot!, followed by, "that would have been" as it missed. We all started laughing, and at that point, Pete was known as Pete "What a shot...that would have been" Campbell.

In my mind, as a person, Pete was always hitting 3 pointers :)
