I remember Karen as a really sweet person; gentle, kind and quiet. We traveled in different circles in High School, but were friends at Paradise Canyon Elementary. I think we were in Blue Birds together or something. So much time has passed. I am sure she will be greatly missed by her family, friends and students.

Karen was a sweet soul with a witty sense of humor. She was also a talented musician and we had a lot of fun singing and laughing together in Concert Choir and Madrigals in high school. We haven't really been in touch but I have very special memories of her. I know she will be greatly missed.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear that Karen has passed on.  I, too, have not seen her in many years, but I spent lots of time with her in high school through music and church.  She was always cheery, kind, and fun...I dont' think I have seen her since our 10 year reunion, but I remember how she sparkled and laughed throughout the night.  That is how I will always remember her.  RIP, Karen, and may your loved ones be soothed and comforted after losing a very special person.

Wow, it's always hard to lose a classmate that is so well admired by friends and classmates. Although I went to Palm Crest, I had known Karen since FIS. She was such a sweet and friendly person to all.

So sad to hear this! We shared a music stand in Orchestra, rides to/from rehearsals, giggles, eyerolls and inside jokes during Music for most of FIS and LCHS. She was so talented and a kind and friendly classmate.
