Dave had some kind of dibillitating illness that was crippling him. When I saw him he had two weiner dogs, and a nice girlfriend. He was unable to work, and had a lot of pain. We drank some beers and I had a nice visit. I am sorry that he's not around anymore.

Sorry to hear the passing of Dave. I will always remember those crazy High School days. RIP Dave.

Russell,     That was sweet. I am so glad you had that time with him. Sometimes life makes no sense

I came to LCHS towards end of Junior year; daunting not knowing anyone.  Dave Eilert was one of the first students to come up to me, introduce himself and shake my hand.  I'll always remember that.  Thanks Dave.

Russell,

Thanks for remembering Dave. He was a good friend to me. He always came through my line at Alexander's to buy beer. Even had the manager convinced he was old enough. After begging him for months to  ride his Honda 100 he let me and I promptly crashed it into the Bank of America. He was also a charter member at the Manhatten house. I wish I'd had a chance to know him as an adult. Aloha Dave.

I had a huge crush on Dave during our years at LCHS.  Another peer gone.  Hope your life after LCHS was good, Dave.  Rest well.
