Hanging out with the rest of the "gang," Debbie always had a smile on her face.  She met everything life threw at her head-on.  She was very much loved, and will be very much missed...

I was very saddened to hear of Debbie's passing last year.  We were good friends throughout high school; part of a group of close friends that included Yvonne Angeles, Carol von Zielinski, Debbie and myself.  After high school, we all kind of went in different directions and lost touch.  More recently, Yvonne and I have started communicating again - thanks to Facebook.  (Hey Carol !  Where are you?)

I contacted Yvonne (who's living in Alabama) with the sad news (via FB Messenger) almost a year ago when I saw on the La Canada Memorials FB group that Debbie was gone. We were both shocked and upset.  May Debbie always rest in peace.  She was loved by many. heart

I was so sad and shocked to hear this.

We had many adventures, including accidentally doing major damage to the LCHS track by racing horses on it after a rain. (I lived across the street from Coach Logan and hoped he wouldn't find out.) Then there was the time we accidentally ditched study hall for weeks (didn't know we had to sign in) and all the explaining we had to do for 17 cut classes,

I last saw her at the reunion in 2009 she looked the same and was still her energetic and sweet self. We kept in touch but not enough :(
